WESTFIELD, NJ — In its newly released rankings, national educational research and rankings firm Niche has placed Westfield Public Schools No. 26 in the state for the second year in  a row.

The firm gave the district an overall A grade, down from an A+ on its 2017 list. It gave the district an A+ for academics, A+ for teachers, A+ for college prep, A for resources and facilities and A for sports, but a C for diversity. To read the full report card, click here.

According to Niche, the 2018 Best School Districts ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data and ratings collected from millions of Niche users.
