The next Westfield Power Breakfast, hosted by the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) will be held on Tuesday, November 13, between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., at Turning Point, 137 Central Ave., Westfield. NJAWBO provides a forum for networking, professional development, and education for women business owners. The topic for this meeting is “There’s More than One Way to Start and Grow a Business,” presented by Robin Preisler, Director of Business Development at UCEDC, who will explain how the UCEDC can harness the funding and training power of the SBA, EDA, and other government agencies to help you take your business to the next level.

Attendees will learn that if a bank doesn’t buy into your small business dream, it doesn't have to be the end of the story. Whether you’re already in operation or are just thinking about taking the plunge, there’s a world of other funding opportunities out there for savvy entrepreneurs.

The cost is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. For reservations, please register online at For more information, contact Felicia Lucco at felicia or 201-258-4593.
