WESTFIELD, NJ — PSE&G has reported that all power in Westfield has been restored, Town Administrator Jim Gildea said Friday morning at about 11:40 a.m.
Some parts of Westfield lost power again in the afternoon until about 4:45 p.m.
Customers had been reporting widespread power outages across Union County and other parts of New Jersey Friday morning, with power out not just in parts of Westfield but also in towns including Scotch Plains, Clark, Union, Cranford, Garwood, Roselle Park, Rahway and Elizabeth.
Westfield public schools experienced intermittent power outages Friday morning, according to the district. As of 11:25 a.m., all schools had power.
Downtown Westfield, too, had been affected, but all power appeared to be restored by 11 a.m.
