Rake & Hoe Garden Club of Westfield "Juniors" have been busy preparing their entries for the Garden Club of New Jersey flower show where they will compete in their age groups for ribbons in Artistic Crafts, Horticulture, Design and Photography. The kindergarten through high school members have been working hard on kaleidoscope mosaics and colorful bird masks that must be made of fresh or dried plant materials.  They are also challenged to care for house plant entries for at least two months prior to the event and to make their own fresh flower arrangements the day before the show.

Youth and adult entries from across the state will be on display at the New Jersey Flower snd Garden Show Feb. 23-26 at the NJ Convention & Expo Center, 97 Sunfield Ave., Edison, NJ . For fun family outings you can meet Smokey Bear Saturday, Feb. 25, or watch the Great Zucchini Race Sun. Feb 26 12:00 - 1:30 pm. For complete event details and times visit njflowershow.com
