Refugee Assistance Partners NJ (RAP) is proud to introduce the members of its 2020 executive board.  RAP is a non-profit charitable organization based in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood area.

Operating since 2015, it has aided over 150 refugees resettled in Union County and the surrounding area.  Now entering its fifth year, RAP has helped many refugee families attain self-sufficiency by providing training in employment skills; providing ESL courses, driving lessons, and tutoring, and by distributing item donations and food, helping each family for a 6-12 month period of intensive and detailed mentorship.

The executive board of RAP is a seven-member panel of volunteers.  Jill Segulin enters her third year as President, and Anne Goetz enters her fourth year as Vice President.  RAP welcomes Richard Scannell as Treasurer and Steven Wheatley as Secretary.  Also joining the board are members Malini Majumdar, Don Jones and John Otchy.  All board members were elected at the general meeting on November 19, 2019.
