The Westfield Area YMCA’s Fall 2 session program registration begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 13 for Gold and Silver members and at 7:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, for Program and Non-Members. The Fall 2 Session runs from Oct. 30 -Dec. 24.
New classes for adults this fall include: Adult Jazz/Hip Hop, Ballet and Tap Classes.
Youth and teens can enjoy new classes this fall such as Musical Theatre, Teen Jam, and Youth Yoga and Basketball Skill One-Day Clinics.
NEW Dance Academy classes for children and adults begin on Oct. 16 for a 10-week session.
A FREE YMCA Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program is ongoing and available at the Y.
Special Health Groups programs this session include: Delay the Disease: Exercise to Fight Parkinson’s Symptoms; land and water-based Arthritis Exercise Programs; Project Healthy Bones for those who have or are at risk of developing osteoporosis; and Special Population Personal Training.
There is something for everyone. Active Adults can attend Lunchtime Lectures; learn how to play bridge or how to eat healthy on a budget.
The Y continues to offer swim lessons and sport classes for every age and skill level. Free swim assessments are available.
A wide selection of childcare options are available from ages 6 months through school age, including full-day childcare, preschool, full-day Kindergarten and before/after school care. With programs in Westfield, Mountainside and Garwood, the Y is convenient and flexible.
