The Westfield Fencing Club, a division of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts, is currently registering students for the new season.

Classes and bouting for beginning, intermediate and advanced fencers are held in sabre, foil and epée, using electronic scoring equipment.

The classes are held on Wednesday evenings, at 6:30 pm for beginners and 7:30 pm for intermediate students, and on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am for beginners, 10:00 am for intermediate and 11:00 am for advanced fencers. The session consists of 30 one hour lessons, held at All Saints' Church, 559 Park Avenue, Scotch Plains, and are open to students aged 10 and older as well as to adults.

Fencers are asked to wear loose fitting clothing and white-soled sneakers to all classes. Fencing equipment is available for rental.
