WESTFIELD, NJ — After rumors of a second roof collapse downtown circulated on Facebook Sunday afternoon, this time supposedly at the Farmhouse Store on East Broad Street, owners of the eclectic shop assured customers that the rumors were greatly exaggerated.

“Thanks for your concern, everyone,” they posted on the shop’s Facebook page. “Our roof did not collapse. Just a couple of leaks and lots of snow on the roof. We are having people remove snow from the roof tonight, but we had our power shut off as a precaution. We will let you all know when we are up and running again. Hopefully in a day or so. Again, thanks for your thoughts and kind words. We are all ok, hope you are.”
