The  Saint Joseph High School (Metuchen) crew duo of Trent Tighelaar '19 and Ian Hed '19 placed 10th in the nation this weekend.

In May, Tighelaar and Hedin came home with a gold medal in the double sculls race and a qualification for the Youth National Championships in Sarasota, Florida, marking the first time Saint Joe's has qualified in the program’s history.

Tighelar (6'2", 200 lbs.) will continue to row at Temple University, where he plans on continuing his studies to eventually head to medical school.
