WESTFIELD, NJ — Scott's Shoes of Westfield will close for good when its owners retire on Dec. 31, the Downtown Westfield Corporation announced in its monthly email Friday.

“Owners Phil, Stan and Ernie are retiring and have expressed their gratitude at providing quality service and fashion footwear to their loyal customers for all these years,” the announcement reads. “They wish all their patrons and friends all the best, and we wish the same to them!”

Scott’s Shoes was open for 65 years, 18 of them in the current location on Quimby Street in Downtown Westfield. From now through the end of the year, customers can enjoy the discounted prices at the shop.
