SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Labor Day Weekend provides one last hurrah for summer along with one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar: The annual St. Bart's Festival.
Held this year from Friday, Sept. 1, to Monday, Sept. 4, the Labor Day Italian Feast is hosted by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO, St. Bartholomew's Church and St. Bartholomew's Academy. The festival has been an annual tradition honoring San Nicola di Bari, the patron saint of the town of Montazzoli, Italy, since 1974.
