On Saturday June 1, the Westfield Historical Society will host "Tea For Three", an elegant afternoon tea for girls in grades K-5, with their favorite doll and accompanied by their mother, grandmother, or aunt. Teddy bears are welcome.
The tea, along with an enjoyable program on the art of Victorian fan language, will begin at 3PM at the Reeve History and Cultural Center, 314 Mountain Avenue, Westfield.
Guests will be treated to a high tea of scones, dainty finger sandwiches, sweet treats, lemonade, and tea. After the tea guests may participate in an informal tour and in a variety of Victorian era games and activities like croquette, ring toss and a May pole.
Each girl will receive a parting gift and a commemorative photo taken with their doll or Teddy bear in a Victorian pram.
Admission is $30 per couple and $10 per additional K-5 sibling . Space is limited and advanced reservation and ticket purchase is required.
The Westfield Historical Society is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and encourage interest in history, Westfield and its residents through educational efforts and community outreach programs.
