On Monday, Nov. 27, the Hope Chest, located at 26 Prospect Street in Westfield, will begin its annual holiday sale. The store will present a wonderful array of new and gently used items to satisfy all of your holiday needs.
There will be stylish seasonal clothing to wear to all those special holiday parties and events along with jewelry, accessories, and shoes to compliment any outfit. Our men’s department has shirts, dress pants, sports jackets, suits, jeans, ties and sweaters to spruce up any gentleman’s wardrobe. The Hope Chest also carries men’s and women’s warm winter coats for those chilly days and nights.
The store will have beautiful holiday decorations for sale to decorate your home and something from the selection of housewares, glasses, plates, linens and serving items will be a lovely addition to any holiday party. In the book department you can find that perfect book to curl up with on a winter’s night and there are frames of every shape and size to hold that family holiday photo.
The Hope Chest is run by volunteers from the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Auxiliary. The Auxiliary provides financial support to the Center, a nonprofit organization located in Scotch Plains, which provides loving care to terminally ill patients and their families in two residential facilities and in a patient’s home.
The Auxiliary is always happy to welcome new members and anyone interested in our organization may visit the Hope Chest and speak with one of our volunteers, call the Center at 908-889-7780 or visit the website at centerforhope.com. Donations of new and gently used clothing, jewelry, books, artwork and housewares are welcome Tuesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
