WESTFIELD, NJ — Footage from security cameras at YESTERcades of Westfield shows a woman stealing the new game fund/employee tip jar from the counter at 2:10 a.m. (closing time) Sunday morning, according to manager Fred Logue.

There was probably about $70 in the jar at the time, according to Logue, who said he reported the theft to Westfield police.

Police said that the suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 35 years old, wearing a black hat, white T-shirt, black sports jacket and black pants.

“If anybody has any information they should contact the Westfield Police Department,” Logue said.

YESTERcades, located at 151 East Broad St., describes itself as gaming experience straight out of the “golden age of gaming.” In addition to about 130 arcade games, the Westfield location has six flat screen TVs and a rear-projection TV with modern and classic game consoles, pinball machines, air hockey, pool tables and board games checkers. Since opening in April, it has become a popular destination for families.
