EDISON, NJ -- Wardlaw+Hartridge held another successful International Family Fun Night and celebrated the many cultures represented in its diverse community on a wonderful evening with entertainment, great food and fun for the whole family.
Guests enjoyed an international buffet while watching dances from different parts of the world. Many adults and some students also donned international attire and participated in performances to enhance the spirit of the event.
Students from all three school divisions participated in cultural dances. Among the highlights were Indian dances, African dances and Irish dancing. There were also crafts, games and henna for the kids to enjoy.
The event was run by co-chairs Bindu Dalal of Scotch Plains, Nalini Parsram of Colonia and Jen Schildge of Westfield and proceeds were directed to the senior class, specifically to help fund the costs of the prom. Seniors, their advisors and deans helped serve food to the many guests.
