Stan DeLaurentiis of Plainfield, a junior at The Wardlaw + Hartridge School in Edison, has been selected as one of the final contestants to participate in the 13th Chinese Bridge Speech Contests for U.S. High School Students on March 31 at the Confucius Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

The onsite final competition will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 31 at the UMass Boston campus. All finalists will be required to recite a speech between 2-3 minutes and be prepared to answer 3-5 questions afterward.

W+H presented Stan with a $100 scholarship award and a certificate in recognition of this accomplishment. 

The Wardlaw+Hartridge School is a private, nonsectarian, coeducational day school located in Edison serving students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
