Students at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison have been extremely active in community service and helping others with a series of initiatives during the holiday season.
The Upper School held a Coat and Winter Accessories Drive and collected new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. Hands of Hope in Edison truly appreciated the generosity of the W+H community. Middle School students visited the Giving Tree, from which they selected ornaments with gift suggestions for autistic children attending Crossroads School in Westfield. The gifts were delivered to the school for autistic children on Dec. 20, with eighth graders (pictured) leading the way.
Lower School students supported the Emanuel Cancer Foundation by purchasing toys, art supplies, puzzles and games. Fifth graders assisted in the delivery of these holiday gifts.
