EDISON, NJ -- The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison invites adults in the community to attend Hidden in Plain Sight, a hands-on interactive learning opportunity presented by Special Agent Timothy P. McMahon, Public Information Office, Drug Enforcement Administration, New Jersey Division.
The program will be held Tuesday, April 23, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the school’s AP Room and is being sponsored by the Wardlaw+Hartridge Parents’ Association.
Using an actual bedroom that you can walk through, Special Agent McMahon will highlight signs and symptoms of alcohol/drug abuse and teach skills for proactive parenting. The evening is designed to provide information and resources for parents and community members to help keep children healthy and drug-free.
This program is open to parents, caregivers, adults over 21, community members, educators and adults working with youths. Please be sure to invite friends and family over the age of 21 to attend. No one under 21 will be permitted to attend.
