The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison held its annual Senior Buddies Assembly on Oct. 5 in Laidlaw Gym. The program began with a welcome from Maggie Granados, Assistant Head of School for Lower and Middle School.

Yumna Naqvi, a senior from South Plainfield, represented the Class of 2017 and shared reflections of her favorite moments in Lower School. Mrs. Christine Cerminaro, Upper School math teacher and Senior Class Dean, announced the names of the senior buddies with their respective Lower School classes.  The seniors received carnations and were introduced to their new friends.

After the assembly, the senior buddies accompanied the Lower School students back to their classrooms. The seniors and young students will enjoy many more opportunities to interact throughout the school year, including at the annual Halloween Parade.
