The Westfield Area Y’s Fours classes located at the Early Learning Center on Elm Street in Westfield, recently took advantage of the snow outside by having a Jackson Pollack art lesson that included some creative fun outside by using snow as their canvas!
It was a great way for the children to learn about Jackson Pollock, an influential American painter, and leading force behind the abstract expressionist movement in the art world whose greatness lies in developing one of the most radical abstract styles in the history of modern art. The results were a beautiful array of colored snow painted by the children around the Early Learning Center grounds!
