The Westfield Area Y Spring 2 Session runs April 24 – June 18. Registration for Gold and Silver individual and family members begins 6:00 pm Thursday, April 7. Members can register online. Open registration for program and non-members will begin at 7:30 am Monday, April 11.
At the Y, there is something for everyone. Together with members, the Y strengthens the foundations of the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility while weaving core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility within their programs and services. Kids and adults of all ages can learn, grow, socialize, and improve their health and well-being.
The Westfield Area Y offers a wide variety of exciting programs this session. New programs for adults include: Personal Training for Two and a free Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program. New programs and leagues for youth and teens include: Speed School, T-Ball league, Basketball league and Summer Flyers Track & Field.
Special events include: Healthy Kids Day on April 30th, an adult trip to tour Chanticleer Gardens on May 12th, a teen trip to Dorney Park on May 20th and a family trip to a Somerset Patriots Game on May 22nd.
The Y continues to offer swim lessons, dance academy, Tae Kwon Do, land and water fitness classes, special needs programs and more.
Don’t forget to register your child for 2016 Summer Camp for ages 3-15 and childcare education programs for the 2016-2017 school year for ages 6 months to school age. Programs are in Westfield, Mountainside and Garwood, making the Y convenient and flexible.
