The Westfield Area Y is pleased to announce a new Diabetes Exercise and Nutrition Program this spring session.  The session runs from February 26th – April 21st at the Main Y facility located at 220 Clark Street in Westfield.
Managing your Type 1 or Type II is more than tracking your sugar intake. This program gives participants the exercise and nutrition tools, expert guidance and support to succeed. They will learn how to safely increase physical activity, improve blood lipid profile, control glucose level and manage weight.
The program is led by a certified Health and Fitness Specialist, a Nutritional Sciences Expert (Kim Spaccarotella, PhD.) and certified Physical Trainers.
Registration begins on February 9th for Members and February 13th for Program and Non-Members. Available to full-facility and “On the Way” members.

Please contact Greg Hatzisavvas at (908) 233-2700 x251 or email with questions.
