The Westfield Area Y Summer Session runs June 21 – August 29. Registration for Gold and Silver individual and family members begins Thursday, June 4. Members can register online. Open registration for program and new members will begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 8.    
The Westfield Area Y offers a wide variety of exciting programs this session for the communities of Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside and Westfield. Highlights and new programs include:  Dance Academy, Summer Basketball Clinic, Summer Flyers Track & Field, CPR/AED & Basic First Aid Certification Course and Open Play Bridge.
Improve your strokes or learn to swim this summer. The Y offers various options to accommodate your schedule whether it be once a week for the entire summer, two times a week for four weeks or three or four times a week for two weeks. Group classes are available for children ages 3-12 and pre-teens and teens ages 11-16.  Individual lessons are available for ages 6 – adults. In addition the Y offers special needs swim lessons for ages 3-12 and diving lessons for ages 6+. 
Whether you are a college student who is home for the summer or an adult looking for a place to cool off and stay active, the Westfield Area Y is offering Summer Membership Specials that will enable you to enjoy the benefits of the Y.
There is no organization like the Y. The Y strengthens the foundations of the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility while weaving the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility into all programs and services.
