Winter break is the perfect time to learn how to swim or become a lifeguard. The Westfield Area YMCA is offering a mini-swim session that includes a variety of lessons for all levels Monday, December 26th - Friday, December 30th at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.
During winter break is also the perfect time to get certified as a Lifeguard. The course is December 27th-29th from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm for those who pass the physical skills test. Registration is going on now for both the test and course for members and non-members for a fee. Participant must be at least age 16 by the last day of class.
