Caring Contact is pleased to announce the addition of Shayla Harris to its Board of Trustees. Ms. Harris grew up in Essex County, NJ and graduated from Kent Place in 2014.
“I joined the Caring Contact board because I believe we need to eradicate the stigma associated with mental health. Caring Contact provides vital support for people in crisis, while also providing a space where one can simply speak honestly about their emotions.
The importance of this resource has only been heightened by COVID-19 so I hope to help extend the organization's impact. As a Kent Place alumna with roots in Essex County, I'm excited to work with a New Jersey based organization.”
Ms. Harris is a graduate of the University of Chicago and currently works for Accenture as a Senior Strategy Analyst in Chicago, IL.
