On May 19, 5th Grade Franklin Girl Scout Junior Troop 40490 hosted Washington School's Incoming Daisy Troop 40345 at a gathering to make colorful decorations for the monthly celebrations held at Children's Specialized Hospital. Each month, the hospital throws special themed parties for their patients, and Troop 40490 is helping to make these events even more festive.
The 5th grade troop partnered with the Daisy troop to make the decorations and also taught the Daisies new songs and games. It was a fun way for these girls to work together to help bring joy to other children. This project is one of several that the Juniors are working on as they fulfill requirements for earning their Bronze Award this Spring.
