The Westfield High School Concert Choir will perform with the Hofstra University Chamber Choir on March 18 at 7 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, as part of Hofstra’s 2020 Northeast American Tour. The public is invited and admission is free.
"We are excited that Westfield is Hofstra's first stop on their spring break tour," says WHS choral director John Brzozowski. "We hope this collaboration will prove to be enriching for our students, helping them understand and connect to choral music at the post-secondary level."
The WHS Choir has had “a longtime relationship with Dr. David Fryling, director of choral activities at Hofstra,” adds Brzozowski. “Dr. Fryling has been visiting our school for years, working with and inspiring our students to achieve their best.”
Hofstra University is a private institution in Hempstead on New York’s Long Island.
