(February 27, 2013) – On Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m., the Westfield Memorial Library will present a musical program entitled “Great American Songbook Favorites” as sung by Carol Erikson. The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.
With a forty-year career as a nurse, Carol has dedicated her life to making others feel better. Now she pursues passion for music. Carol’s ability to connect with people is evident in her performance style as she leaves the listener feeling she was performing just for him or her.
Known in the industry as a gifted story teller with a sweet voice, Carol breathes new life into the Great American Songbook. She’ll be singing standards by beloved composers like Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, and Hoagy Carmichael.
