On Saturday, April 1 at 1:30 p.m., the Westfield Memorial Library will present How to Grow a Kitchen Garden. The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.
Kitchen Garden will be presented by speaker and avid gardener Karen Camden. She will cover how to grow herbs, vegetables and seasonings right in your own kitchen. At the end of the class, there will be a question and answer session.
Camden, a frequent speaker at the library, gives computer classes and workshops on organizing, repurposing, gardening and sewing. She is the President of Camden Associates, a consulting firm that provides services in Communications and People Skills, Organizational Assessments and Clutter Control.
Founded in 1879, the Westfield Memorial Library—the community’s destination for discovery and ideas—engages minds, entertains spirits and facilitates lifelong learning for people of all ages. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The library will be closed Friday, April 14 for Good Friday and Sunday, April 16 for Easter.
