WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Police Benevolent Association Local 90/90A Golf Outing is set for Monday, Aug. 27 at Echo Lake Country Club. The annual event is the organization’s largest and longest-running fundraiser, according to Paul M. Ferry, the organization’s president.
“Everyone works tirelessly to make the event as fun and successful as possible, all along raising money for our sick, death and welfare fund,” Ferry said. “We take pride in the amount of work we put into putting on such a great event, and I think after 24 years, the longevity of the outing speaks for itself. It’s such a fun day filled with great golf, great prizes and great people and we hope we can once again create a great time for all the wonderful people that come out to support our cause.”
The PBA is also planning its second annual car, motorcycle and Jeep show for Sept. 22. For more information about these events, click here.
“Fundraisers like these help us not only help our members and their families,” Ferry said, “but it allows us to help others in need in our community and beyond.”
