WESTFIELD, NJ — Town police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the owner of a truck connected to a report of illegal dumping.

In a Facebook post Friday afternoon, police shared a low resolution image of the dump truck and asked the public to contact the department if they are familiar with it.

Police Chief Christopher Battiloro said the department is seeking the truck's owner or operator in connection with a report of illegal dumping.

The Facebook post says, “We know the photo isn’t great but does anyone recognize this truck?”
