Westfield Police Blotter: $10K Bank Fraud Reported & More

Officers Shaughnessy and Loffredo arrested Matthew Williams, age 25, of Plainfield, NJ, on the strength of an outstanding Westfield Municipal Court warrant ($1,311) and Boundbrook Municipal Court warrant ($500) at South Plainfield Police Department. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and placed in cell no. 1 in lieu of bail.

Officers Poplieck and Swiderski arrested Joseph Loughlin, age 24, of Kenilworth, NJ, for driving while intoxicated pursuant to an investigation in the area by Park Street. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult.

 

June 1, 2017 9:27 p.m.

Officers R. Johnson and Martinez arrested Daniel Lundy, age 23, of New York, NY pursuant to an investigation at the South Side Train Station lot. Subject was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released with a complaint summons.

 

June 2, 2017 9:08 a.m.

Police Officer Jackus arrested Tyler Buessing of Morristown, 26 years of age, at Mountain Ave and Walnut Street on two active warrants out of this jurisdiction. Mr. Buessing was released after posting $134 bail.

 

June 3, 2017 8:30 p.m.

Officers Johnson and Martinez arrested Alexis Rea, age 21, of the 1000 block of Magie Avenue, Union, NJ, for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Dorian Road and Stoneleigh Park. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released on a complaint summons.

 

June 3, 2017 at 10:36 p.m.

Officers Forcenito and Santangelo arrested Javhon Hicks, age 20, of Raritan Road, Clark, NJ, on an outstanding ATS warrant issued by the Scotch Plains Municipal Court in the amount of $215. Subject was transported to headquarters where she was processed and released after posting bail.

 

June 4, 2017 12:51 a.m.

Officers Forcenito and Santangelo arrested Joseph Sina Sendij, age 22, of Reid Street, Elizabeth for possession of marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of North Avenue by South Euclid Avenue. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued a complaint summons with a Westfield Municipal Court date.

 

June 4, 2017 10:30 a.m.

Police Officer Jackus filed a report with regards to an ATM card fraud and theft. The victim is a resident of the 600 block of Boulevard. Victim states suspect(s) unknown fraudulently charged and withdrew amounts totaling $10,812 from his Chase Bank account.

 

June 5, 2017 10:24 p.m.

Cristy J. Fay, age 31, of South Amboy, NJ, was arrested at Westfield Police Headquarters on the strength of outstanding warrants out of Westfield Municipal Court ($2,250) and Clark Municipal Court ($800). Subject was processed and held in lieu of bail.

 

June 6, 2017 2:56 p.m.

Jennifer Hornsby, age 47, of Garwood, NJ, responded to Westfield Police Department to satisfy two warrants issued by the Westfield Municipal Court with bail set at $2,000. Subject was processed and released after posting the full bail.

 

June 6, 2017 7:59 p.m.

Matthew Manzou, age 28, of Clark, NJ, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Westfield Municipal Court in the amount of $150. Subject was processed and posted bail.

 

June 6, 2017 at 3:04 p.m.

Chelsea T. Hornsby, age 19, of Garwood, NJ, responded to Westfield Police Department to satisfy an active warrant issued by the Westfield Municipal Court with bail set at $1,000. She was processed and released on recognizance with a new court date.
