Report of an identity theft in the 1900 block of Grandview Avenue. A resident reported that suspect(s) unknown opened an account in his name fraudulently.

Officer Penn arrested Candace Ahlquist, age 55, of Mountainside, NJ, for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lawrence and Walnut. Ahlquist was issued summonses and released to a responsible adult.

February 2, 2017 8:26 a.m.

Christopher Feliciano, age 31, of Rahway, NJ, was arrested at Mountain Avenue and Orchard Street during a motor vehicle stop on the strength of a warrant out of South Plainfield in the amount of $165. Mr. Feliciano posted bail and was released.

February 2, 2017 10:38 a.m.

Report of a burglary theft to a motor vehicle in the center parking lot of Tamaques Park. Suspect(s) unknown smashed out a window on the victim’s vehicle and took her purse. The value of the theft was approximately $500.

February 2, 2017 7:20 p.m.

Officers Forcenito and Fourre arrested Allen Smith, age 52, of Plainfield, NJ, on the strength of an outstanding Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $1,031 at Plainfield Police Department. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail.

February 2, 2017 11:45 a.m.

Kevin Licciardi, age 18, of New Brunswick, NJ, was arrested at Tamaques Park during an investigation for suspicious activity. Licciardi was issued a summons for possession a controlled dangerous substance and was released on recognizance.

A resident of the 600 block of Hart Street reported being the victim of an identity theft/credit card fraud. The victim reported that suspect(s) unknown accessed his credit card information, pretended to be him and made $716.67 in purchases.

Officers Natale and Johnson arrested Dulce Cacezas, age 20, of Linden, NJ, on the strength of an outstanding Edison Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $120 pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Central Avenue and Oxford. Subject was processed and headquarters and released after posting full bail.

Officers Johnson and Martinez arrested Sarah Numan-Snyder, age 23, of Brooklyn, NY, on the strength of three outstanding Westfield Municipal Court warrants in the amount of $236 pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the 400 block of East Broad Street. Subject was processed at headquarters and released after posting full bail.

February 3, 2017 8:07 p.m.

Officers Forcenito and Natale arrested Luis Cintron-Colon, age 45, of Plum Street, Reading, PA, for possession of marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Tuttle Parkway and South avenue. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

February 4, 2017 5:44 p.m.

Officers Bagan and Fourre arrested David Parramore, age 39, of Newark, NJ, on the strength of a Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $1,000 at Morris County Jail. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and committed to Union County Jail in lieu of bail.

February 4, 2017 11:54 p.m.

OFficers Natale and Forcenito arrested Marvin Dorga, age 41, fo Browning Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ, on the strength of a Hillside Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $164 pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Standish Avenue and Bitch Avenue. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

February 4, 2017 1:14 a.m.

Officers Natale and Forcenito arrested Antonius Kyne, age 31 of Fay Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ, for driving while intoxicated pursuant to a crash investigation at the traffic circle. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed, given a mandatory court date and released to a sober adult.

Officers Bagan and Fourre arrested Michael Brown, age 28, of Plainfield, NJ, on the strength of a Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500 pursuant to a warrant pick up with the State Police. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed and placing into a holding cell in lieu of bail.

February 5, 2017 1:01 p.m.

OFficers GIll and McCarthy arrested Luis. E Jerez, age 22, of Union, NJ, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for possession of under 50 grams of suspected marijuana. Subject was transported to Westfield Police Department where he was processed and released.

February 5, 2017 2:02 p.m.

Officers Jaramillo and Kenny arrested Aileen Ruiz, age 51, of Newark, NJ, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on an outstanding warrant issued by Woodbridge Municipal Court with bail set at $1,056. Subject was transported to Westfield Police where she was processed and held pending pickup by Woodbridge Police Department

February 6, 2017 8:03 a.m.

Officers Jaramillo and McCarthy arrested Tarracca M. Francois, age 55, of Roselle, NJ, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on an outstanding traffic warrant issued by Roselle Municipal Court with bail set at $148. Subject was transported to Westfield Police Department, processed and released after posting the full cash bail.

February 6, 2017 11:30 a.m.

Officers Jaramillo and McCarthy arrested Dominique D. Davis, age 20, of Newark, NJ, at Essex County Jail on an outstanding criminal warrant issued by the Westfield Municipal Court with bail set at $1,000. Subject was unable to post bail and committed to the Union County Jail pending a court appearance on February 14, 2017.

February 6, 2017 6:10 p.m.

A resident from the 1000 block of Cranford Avenue reports being the victim of a theft and fraud. The victim reports that unknown actor(s) gained access to a financial account and began making withdrawals.

February 7, 2017 7:25 a.m.

A resident in the 1900 block of Grandview Avenue reported a burglary and theft from their motor vehicle which was parked in their driveway and unlocked between 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 7. Stolen from the vehicle was a Magellan GPS unit and approximately $10 in change.

February 7, 2017 8:43 a.m.

A resident in the 1800 block of Grandview Avenue reported a burglary to their motor vehicle while it was parked and unlocked in their driveway between 4 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 8:43 a.m. on Feb. 7. The suspect(s) rummaged through the interior of the vehicle, though it appeared nothing was stolen at the time of the report.

Februrary 7, 2017 9:24 a.m.

A resident in the 1900 block of Grandview Avenue reported a burglary and theft from their motor vehicle while it was parked and unlocked in their driveway between 8 p.m on Feb. 6 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 7. The suspect(s) stole loose change from the vehicle.

February 7, 2017 12:19 p.m.

A resident in the 200 block of Maryland Street reported a burglary and theft from their motor vehicle while it was parked and unlocked in their driveway between 9 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 12 p.m. On Feb. 7. The suspect(s) stole a Garmin GPS and approximately $3 in loose change.
