Kehrry Bernard, age 21, of Elizabeth, NJ, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for her arrest in the amount of $250 from Westfield Municipal Court. Subject was processed and posted bail.

 

January 12, 2018 7:29 p.m.

Officers Martinez and Habeiche arrested Carlos E. Morales, age 39, of Fairview, NJ, at Bergen County Jail on the strength of a Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

 

January 12, 2018 11:29 p.m.

Officers Natale and Habeiche arrested Steven M. Farrell, age 27, of Flushing, NY, for possession of marijuana under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of East Broad Street and Harrison Avenue. Subject was transported to headquarters, processed and released with a complaint summons.

 

January 13, 2018 10:59 a.m.

A resident of Elizabeth, NJ, responded to Westfield Police Department to report that her credit card was fraudulently used at 609 North Avenue, Lord & Taylor. The amount charged was $362.31.

 

January 14, 2018 8:22 p.m.

Officers Natale and Pollock arrested Vincent C. Harley, age 50, of Plainfield, NJ, on the strength of a no bail warrant and for hindering apprehension pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of South Avenue and Crossway Place. Defendant was transported to headquarters, processed and turned over to the Union County Jail.

 

January 15, 2018 10:21 a.m.

Officers Jaramillo and Ferry arrested Corey Jennings, age 20, of Irvington, NJ, for possession of controlled dangerous substances (marijuana) under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lamberts Mill Road and New England Drive. Subject was transported to WPD where he was processed and released on a complaint summons.

 

January 15, 2018 1:29 p.m.

A resident of Fairacres Avenue responded to Westfield Police headquarters to report being the victim of a fraud. Victim states that unknown suspect(s) attempted to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $4,200 on Dec. 9, 2017 utilizing the victim’s bank account information.
