January 4, 2017 6:23 p.m.

Pietro Maioriello, age 20, of Scotch Plains, NJ, was arrested for possession a controlled dangerous substance under 50 grams pursuant to a motor vehicle stop. Subject was processed and released on a summons.

January 4, 2017 9:21 p.m.

Stephen Thomas, age 21, of Plainfield, NJ, was arrested on the strength of two outstanding warrants for his arrest from Highland Park Municipal Court in the total amount of $155. Subject was processed and posted bail.
January 6, 2017 12:06 p.m.

Ms. Jamaica Jasper, age 21, of Bloomfield, NJ ,was arrested on the strength of one outstanding ATS warrant issued by the Fanwood Boro Municipal Court ($500 bail) pursuant to a motor vehicle investigation. Ms. Jasper was transported to Westfield Police Department headquarters for arrest processing and was released after posting the requisite bail.

January 5, 2017 9:32 a.m.

Officers Domanoski and Jaramillo responded to the Union County Jail to take custody of Mr. Douglas Zeigler, age 21, of Newark, NJ, on the strength of one outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Westfield Municipal Court ($789 bail). Mr. Zeigler was processed and released after appearing before the Westfield Municipal Court.

January 5, 2017 1:12 p.m.

Ms. Hillary Masadey, age 23, of Newark, NJ, was arrested on the strength of one outstanding warrant issued by the Roselle Park Municipal Court ($500 bail) pursuant to a traffic stop for an observed motor vehicle violation. Ms. Masadey was transported to Westfield Police Department headquarters for arrest processing and was held in lieu of posting the requisite bail.

January 6, 2017 12:34 p.m.

Ms. Janine Loghisci, age 41, of Scotch Plains, NJ, was arrested for shoplifting approximately $1,400 worth of merchandise from a business located on the 600 block of West North Avenue. Ms. Loghisci was transported to Westfield Police Department headquarters for arrest processing and was released with a summons to appear before the Westfield Municipal Court.

January 9, 2017 1:13 a.m.

Officers Forcenito and Martinez arrested Jada Keats, age 21, of North Plainfield, NJ, on the strength of an outstanding South Plainfield warrant in the amount of $139. Subject was transported to headquarters where she was processed and released after posting full bail.

January 9, 2017 8:13 a.m.

Officer O’Holla arrested Luis Perez, age 58, of Cranford, NJ, during a motor vehicle stop on E. Broad Street by Wychwood Road for contempt of court. Mr. Perez posted $500 bail and was released with a court date.

January 9, 2017 12:38 p.m.

Officer Gill arrested Damar Younge, age 34, of Newark, NJ during a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue W. near Clark Street for contempt of court out of Irvington and Piscataway. Mr Younge posted $200 bail on the Irvington warrant and was released on recognizance by Piscataway on the $500 warrant.

January 9, 2017 1:16 p.m.

Officer Donovan arrested Edward Nascimento, age 22, of Elizabeth, NJ, for contempt of court out of Egg Harbor during a motor vehicle stop on E. Broad Street at Karen Terrace. Mr. Nascimento posted $120 bail and was released.

January 10, 2017 12:28 a.m.

Officers Forcenito and McCarthy arrested Austin Graham, age 18, of Fanwood, NJ, on the strength of a Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $1,000 at Plainfield Police department. Subject was transported to headquarters where he was processed and placed into a cell in lieu of posting bail.
