UPDATE: 4 Arrested, 1 Wanted After Tuesday Police Chase Through Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — Officers have arrested four people in connection with a stolen car and are on the lookout for a fifth, police said Tuesday night.

Cranford police were chasing a vehicle that had been reported stolen when the suspects bailed out in the area of Fairfield Avenue by Unami Park in Cranford and fled toward Twin Oaks Terrace and Grandview Avenue in Westfield, police said in a Nixle alert.

Police described the fifth suspect as a black man, in his 20s, with short dreadlocks, a gray “Marvin the Martian” T-shirt, blue shorts or jeans and a mask around his neck.

Police advised anyone who sees this person to call 911 immediately.
