WESTFIELD, NJ — On Saturday, we learned that six more Westfield residents have died from coronavirus, bringing the number of Westfield fatalities from the disease to 13.
Within hours of Gov. Phil Murphy ordering state and county parks closed earlier this week, Mayor Shelley Brindle ordered Westfield’s public parks shut to further create social distancing and help stem the spread of COVID-19.
There is some sunshine, however. Four Westfield High School football players will compete at Division 1 schools next year, and COVID-19 couldn't stop Greta's Run. Read these stories, and many more, below:
