The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad provided an ambulance with a full crew for the Papal visit to the city of Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 26. Westfield was part of the NJ EMS Task Force designated for the Papal visit and was one of only 16 rescue squads from New Jersey, and one of two from Union County (Summit being the other) to cover the event.

WVRS members Eric Taylor and Kim Davis notably served a full 12-hour shift and represented the town during this special occasion.
