SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Former Union County Prosecutor Grace Park, a Westfield resident, was among a group of six local women recently honored as The Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council held their 17th Annual Tribute to Women Awards Luncheon.

Park was joined by Jennifer Colamedici of Clark, Jeanne Kingsley of Berkeley Heights, Katie Nolle of New Providence and Summit residents Amanda Parrish Block and Christine Hayward in being recognized for serving as exemplary role models for the area youth.

The recipients were chosen for their outstanding service and leadership in their communities. They are citizens who live the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives, according to the Scouts. The 2017 luncheon chairs were Jacquie Cleary and Sandra Lizza, both prior Tribute to Women honorees.

Through the event, funds were raised to support the award-winning child abuse prevention programs offered to the community at large by the Boy Scouts of America. The Patriots’ Path Council ranks high among all the Boy Scout Councils in the nation in their fight against child abuse.
