WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Public Schools will be Monday, Jan. 25, due to hazardous walking and driving conditions resulting from the snow storm, the district announced Sunday afternoon. Union County Vocational Technical Schools will be closed, too.

Local private schools are announcing closings on Monday, as well, including both campuses of Holy Trinity School and Wardlaw-Hartridge School.

The JCC of Central NJ announced that its preschool, infant care and kindergarten will be closed Monday, along with drop-in babysitting and enrichment classes.

The Westfield Area Y has announced that its full day child care at the Early Learning Center on Elm Street and the Garwood Family Center Y will open at 10 a.m. Monday. Preschool and kindergarten will be closed. Snow Day Coverage through the School Age Child Care program will begin at 10 a.m. for those who have pre-registered. Parent/child classes have been cancelled. 

Union County College is closed Monday. Spring registration is extended through Tuesday, Jan. 26.
