WESTFIELD, NJ – As part of the social studies curriculum in Westfield schools, high school students have the opportunity to take a new course on understanding religion.

Board member Ann Cary gave a presentation on the new course, which covers the seven major religions of the world today.

“A lot of excitement is anticipated for these courses,” she said, adding that there are presently 18 students in the class, and the school is seeking more students and support from staff.
