WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield will hold its summer movie kickoff night this Saturday, June 22, in the South Avenue train station parking lot with live music, a showing of the 1995 movie “Jumanji” and eats from south side restaurants, including fare from 1958 Cuban Cuisine and an enormous pizza by Outta Hand Pizza that will be decorated like the American Flag.

When he heard that the neighboring Cuban restaurant was planning to roast a whole pig, Outta Hand owner Burim Regjaj wouldn't be outdone.

“I figured I’d add some excitement to the event,” he said.

Outta Hand will use its entire oven to create a pie that is 9 feet by 4 feet, said Regjaj.

The pizza might not be the biggest one ever made – in 2017 pizza-makers in Italy served one that was a mile long – but Regjaj plans to submit it to Guinness World Records as possibly the world's largest Sicilian pie.

The movie, music and popcorn will be free.
