Princesses, Superheroes and their Parents Welcome!

Westfield families are invited to join Ward 4 candidate Dawn Mackey and some special fairy tale guests for an enchanted afternoon of fun, face painting, and other activities on Sunday June 25 from noon  to 2 p.m. at the Westfield Community Center at 558 West Broad Street. This free event is open to all Westfield residents.

“I felt that a family event offered a casual, fun way for residents to get to know me and for me to get to know them,” said Mackey. “I’m looking forward to seeing many new faces and to having meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to our community.”

Mayoral candidate Shelley Brindle will also be on-hand to meet and greet residents.

Mackey selected the Westfield Community Center as the location for this event to bring awareness and attention to this often overlooked organization.

“So many people drive right by this gem in our community and don't know the great work they do,” explained Mackey. Located in the heart of Ward 4, the Westfield Community Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides affordable programs and services to address the needs of adults and children in the community.
