WESTFIELD, NJ — BAYADA Home Health Care was founded 43 years ago in Philadelphia with a purpose of helping people live safely at home with comfort, independence and dignity. Now a national industry leader with a presence in five countries, BAYADA operates a local Westfield office that serves 120 residents in Westfield, Summit and throughout Union County.

BAYADA Westfield, located at 251 North Avenue West on the north side of the Westfield train station parking lot, recently was recognized for outstanding client satisfaction by Home Care Pulse, an independent research company that surveys customers to measure and compare the quality of their client experiences with home care companies across the nation.

“We strive to give people exceptional care, and delivering a great client experience is my top priority,” said BAYADA Westfield Director Denise Daley. “So this award means the world to us because it’s from our clients, our customers, naming us as the best.”

“We are very proud of the services that our certified home health aides provide, delivering health care in the place that our clients most want to be: at home,” Daley said.

BAYADA Westfield has more than 100 certified home health aides (CHHAs) who travel to homes, hospitals and residential facilities to support clients in their activities of daily living, which include: dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, basic exercise, medication and appointment reminders, meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, household errands, companion care and safety assistance to prevent falls and injuries.

“We do it all,” said Daley, who’s in her 10th year with BAYADA Home Health Care. “We help one client get to the JCC so she can enjoy a yoga class and swimming, and we may get a request in the middle of the night to help another client who’s been admitted to the hospital. Whatever your needs may be, BAYADA can provide personal care and companionship services that give our clients and their families peace of mind.”

BAYADA Home Health Care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers an option for live-in help, if needed. Beyond their 24/7 client services  though, BAYADA Westfield  has become a trusted resource and well-known community partner in Union County, whose employees stay involved in local events and the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

“For our employees, BAYADA is more than a career — it’s a calling. Caregivers and office staff, we all care about people and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives,” explained Daley. “Part of our shared philosophy we call The BAYADA Way is a commitment to build relationships and serve our communities where we live and work — so we like to stay involved, help educate people, and really get to know our neighbors,” Daley said.

Perhaps it’s that commitment to compassion and excellence that earned BAYADA an Employees’ Choice Award on Glassdoor.com. Based on employees’ anonymous reviews on the Glassdoor website, BAYADA  ranked in the National Top 100 as a Best Place to Work in 2018.

Christina McManus is a client services manager at BAYADA Westfield, and she believes the reason why BAYADA continue to maintain their reputation for excellence is because the company offers so many opportunities for growth and recognition.

“We have a wonderful corporate culture that recognizes all of our employees — both those in the office and those out in the field,” McManus said. “Our clients come first and our employees are our greatest asset!”

Reflecting on BAYADA Westfield’s recent Provider of Choice award, Director Daley said, “I’m thrilled this award indicates that we’re fulfilling our own standards — that every day in every home, our care is delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability — our BAYADA core values. We’ll keep working hard to maintain the highest standards and help the people of Union County live safely at home with comfort, independence and dignity.”

BAYADA's Westfield office is located at 251 North Ave. Westfield, Suite 201, Westfield, NJ. Call them at 908-789-1717. To visit their website, click here.
