Sign up early to have your Christmas tree removed by Westfield students is the message from the music department at Westfield High School.
The yearly January collection by the Westfield High School Band and Choir students was oversubscribed last year and they were forced to close reservations before the deadline.
For just $15, the music students will remove your tree from the curbside outside your home on Saturday, Jan. 6 (rain/snowdate Saturday, Jan. 13) and take it to the Conservation Center.
To make a reservation, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Reservations will not be accepted after Dec. 31 and may have to close earlier if too many requests are made.
Trees should be placed at the curbside at the front of your home by 9 a.m. on Jan. 6 with cash or a check (made out to WHS Music) for $15 attached to the tree or placed in your mailbox.
This fundraiser supports over 400 Westfield music students in reaching their musical goals throughout the school year by providing funding for equipment, clinicians and performance trips.
Should you have questions regarding this event, contact WHS Band Director Chris Vitale at 908-789-4500 x4551.
