Annual Wine Tasting Supports the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care The Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Auxiliary is preparing for it’s Annual Wine Tasting with both a Silent and Live Auction to be held on May 20, 2018. The event will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 16 Prospect Wine Bar and Bistro located at 16 Prospect Street in Westfield. The tickets will be $50.00 and can be purchased by calling Helga at 908-889-6287 or by visiting the Center for Hope website at cfhh.org.

As in years past, guests will be treated to passed hors d’oeuvres and glasses of various wines. There will be a live auction including items such as Yankees tickets, rounds of golf for four, a stay in a Florida condominium, a signed Jets football and a hot air balloon ride. A silent auction will highlight wine baskets, local restaurant gift certificates, electronics, a craft beer basket and many other enticing items. The profits from the day go directly to support the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.

The Center is a not for profit organization located in Scotch Plains and provides loving care for terminally ill patients and their families along with palliative care for patients with chronic conditions. This care is provided in two resident facilities in Elizabeth and Scotch Plains. Home care is also available for patients who prefer to remain in their own home. Services are given regardless of a patient’s of financial situation, age, race, religion or ethnicity.

Each year the Auxiliary supports the Center through various fund raising events and through our thrift store, The Hope Chest, located at 26 Prospect Street in Westfield. The Hope Chest accepts donations of gently used men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, books, housewares, and artwork. We are always happy to welcome new members to the Auxiliary and information can be obtained by visiting or calling the Hope Chest at 908-233-9973.
