WESTFIELD, NJ — The National Weather Service has announced a winter storm warning for the area beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday and lasting until 6 a.m. Monday morning. In anticipation of the storm, Westfield Police Chief David Wayman asked residents to remove their vehicles from the road to facilitate plowing.

Snow accumulation of four to eight inches is anticipated. The National Weather Service warns that snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected to make travel dangerous.
