UNION, NJ – Blue Devils’ freshman CJ Composto pinned his opponent, Larry Melchionda in 1:16 to win the Region 4 title for the 106-pound division at Union Senior High School on Saturday afternoon.

“It’s great to get that Region title, but I’m just looking forward to next week down in Atlantic City,” Composto said. “This tournament didn’t really compare to those in the ones in the past. This gym is way bigger than the one at districts, so I was a little more nervous, but I just wrestled the same way I always do.”
