The Westfield Area Y is hosting a special Zumba Master Class instructed by Judy Torres on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (check-in is at 7 p.m.) at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street. The event is open to all for a $25 tax-deductible contribution. Proceeds benefit the Y’s Annual Support Campaign for strong kid families and seniors.
Participants will ZUMBA with the one and only Judy Torres! Judy has been working as an on-air personality on New York’s 103.5 WKTU. She has also been singing professionally for 27 years. After losing 75 pounds to stay on track, she became a Zumba instructor.
Thanks to the Y’s Annual Support Campaign, no one who lives or works in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside and is experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for the inability to pay, whether due to unemployment, poor health or other circumstances. The Y provides over $400,000 per year in direct financial assistance primarily to enable youth participation in child care, summer day camp, sports and aquatic programs.
The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Learn more at www.westfieldynj.org.
