Officers arrested Damian Gromek, 27, of Carteret, at the South Avenue 7-Eleven for possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was transported to headquarters, where he was released with a pending court date, police said.

Kendrick D. Magazine, 42, of South Plainfield, was arrested on an outstanding Westfield municipal court warrant in the amount of $1,039 pursuant to a prisoner pickup at the South Plainfield Police Department, police said. He was transported to the Westfield Police Headquarters, where he was processed and held in lieu of bail, police said.

April 24 at 9:10 p.m.

Officers arrested Cole Grabler, 23, of Edison, for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, police said. The officers stopped him while driving in the area of East Broad Street and North Euclid Avenue, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on a summons, police said.

April 25 at 04:52 a.m.

A resident in the 1000 Block of Wyandotte Trail told officers that four of her unlocked motor vehicles were burglarized, police said. Two of the vehicles were parked in the driveway of the residence and two were parked in the front of the residence, police said. The total value of the items stolen from the vehicles was $2,860, police said.

April 29 at 8:43 p.m.

Officers arrested Markia Jackson, 27, of Roselle, on two Jersey City Municipal Court warrants totaling $125, police said. The arrest was made pursuant to a motor vehicle stop on East Broad Street, police said. He was later released after posting $982 bail, police said.

May 1 at 8:31 a.m.

Savatore Fazio, 35, of Westfield, was arrested in the area of South Avenue and Boulevard subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, police said. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of East Orange Municipal Court and transported to the Westfield Police Headquarter, police said. He was processed and later released with a new court date, police said.

May 1 at 3:06 a.m.

Officers arrested Quson Brewster, 37, of Westfield, at Clark Police Headquarters on the strength of two outstanding Westfield warrants totaling $2,287, police said. Officers transported him to police headquarters, where he was processed and later detained at the Union County Jail pending his court appearance, police said.

May 3 at 6:35 p.m.

A resident of Plainfield told officers that while they were parked at Mindowaskin Park, unknown persons entered their unlocked motor vehicle and stole about $220 worth of miscellaneous items, police said. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 6:35 p.m., police said.

May 3 at 8:55 p.m.

Officers arrested Diana Gonzales-Cruz at the Berkeley Heights Police Department on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,000 and another outstanding warrant in the amount of $145, police said. She was transported to police headquarters and released after posting bail, police said.

May 6 at 01:22 a.m.

Officers arrested Maria Noval, 41, of Scotch Plains, on an active warrant issued by North Wildwood Municipal Court, police said. Noval was transported to police headquarters, processed and released after posting bail, police said.
